Plant fossils were collected from a iron-rich (sideritic) indurated layer within a gray clay on the east bank of the tributary of the Jago River.  This locality is equivalent to Detterman 300P.

Description

Stem or petiole:  10 cm long, approximately 2 cm wide; bearing numerous striations which do not dichotomize, running parallel to the longest axis of the specimen.

Remarks

These plant remains were numerous but found only in association with form RAPE107.  It is likely that they represent the stems or petioles of the leaves comprising Form RAPE107.
