Description
Leaf: cuniform, flabellate, distally flattened or rounded, tapering to decurrent junction with petiole; margin entire (?); venation dichotomous.
Remarks
This leaf form is also referrable to Ginkgo pseudoadiantoides var. major as decsribed by Hollick (1930; Plate 13, Fig. 3; p. 50). Hollick designated varietal status to his specimen because of its large size compared to that of G. pseudoadiantoides Hollick (1930, Plate 13 Fig. 7b; Plate 13, Figs. 8-12; Plate 28, Fig. 4a; p. 49). We do not think such division is justified given the highly plastic form of ginkgos generally.
