Description

Leaf:  simple; symmetrical; shape unknown, probably ovate; apex missing; base missing, probably peltate or deeply lobed; margin unknown; venation basal(?) imperfect(?), acrodromous; primary midvein moderate, more or less straight; a-pectinal veins same thickness as midvein departing at approximately 35°, recurved initially becoming  inwardly curved to join superior secondaries near apex(?); a-abmedials departing at 45-60°, angle increasing apically, moderate, curved, brochidodromous joining superadjacent a-abmedial at an acute angle; b-pectinals arising from departure point of a-abmedials, departing at 65° to midvein; curved, joining basal a-abmedial at an acute angle; b-abmedials departing at approximately 60°, curved; g-pectinal veins weaker than b-pectinals, curved and recurved, departing midvein at approximately 110° from point of departure of other pectinals; g-abmedials departing at 60°, weak; superior secondaries weak, departing midvein at 50°, increasing to 80° near apex, the most basal arising in apical half of lamina, curved, brochidodromous joining superadjacent superior secondary at an acute angle; tertiary veins straight or convex, weak, often forming composite 'intersecondaries' between a-abmedials or a- and b-pectinals.

Remarks

Poorly preserved in a fine to medium sand matrix,  this leaf lacks preservation of the margin but there is some evidence, although possibly artifact, that it possesses a non-entire margin.  The venation is well defined and the leaf was evidently coriaceous.
