Collections

Here the images are organised by both museum collections and the researchers who made and/or published on them. We arrange the images by collector because it is useful to keep collections discrete that were made and described using different methodologies.

The collection names are of those present in the field at the time the material was collected or those of principal investigators. It should be appreciated that in many instances they were assisted by others who, as far as is possible, are recognised on the Acknowledgements page. Where the collections are extensive they are subdivided by region of origin and then by museum collection.

The fossils in this catalogue are housed in several institutes in the USA and Russia. Images from these various collections and accessed here.
