Kogosukruk Tongue of the Prince Creek Formation. This non-marine section consists of numerous low rank (sub-bituminous to bituminous) thin well-bedded to papery coals separated by yellow and gray mudstones and siltstones, sometimes showing cross bedding. Numerous ironstones contain abundant structurally preserved wood (including part a log 28 cm in diameter suggesting the original diameter could have been as much as 56 cm), conifer leaves, the water plant Quereuxia and large fruits of unknown affinity.
