Yelisseev Locality

This is the Yelisseev locality, which represents an exposure of the Krivorechenskaya Formation and is Cenomanian (~96.5 Ma) in age. Age control is based on marine biostratigraphic correlation in overlying and underlying beds and from 40Ar/39Ar dates from phenocrysts found within the section.

This is the Type Taphoflora for the Grebenka Floral Phase.
